Gravity sausage slicers are quick and easy to use and clean. The blade is inclined at an angle of 90° with respect to the sausage; this allows an easier cut by the 'falling' of the product towards the blade, meeting the need for numerous cuts throughout the day.
Professional gravity slicers are the most popular in delicatessens, supermarkets, sandwich shops and restaurants. The reason for this success lies in the operating mechanism, which is extremely easy and less tiring for the operator than other models.
The fixed and perfectly sharp blade cuts without blocking and without slowing down, thus creating slices of different thicknesses with compact edges.
The gravity cured meat slicer contains a rotating blade inclined at 45° to the plate on which the cured meat is placed.
The moving plate is slightly higher up, and has a slightly different inclination. This means that, when moving, the sausage meets the blade by a 'gravity fall' principle: slices are cut from top to bottom, easing the work of the machine operator.
Thanks to the gravity fall, gravity slicers are suitable for cutting cold meats, cheese, fresh bread and frozen vegetables.
Depending on the model and materials used, gravity slicers can be made of stainless steel or anodised aluminium. The sharpener can be fixed or removable.
A wheel integrated in the machine allows the thickness of the slices to be adjusted, thus adapting to any desired cut. The pressing arm helps to maintain the position of the sausage on the slicer plate, preventing any movement that could compromise the final cut of the slice.
The blade diameter ranges from 195 mm to 350 mm. The power supply is electric with 230V voltage.
On our website you will find a careful selection of gravity cured meat slicers that comply with MOCA regulations on contact of materials with foodstuffs. The slicing machines, which have the CE mark, are particularly recommended for delicatessens and supermarkets where numerous cuts of cold meats are made every day, and for catering businesses such as sandwich shops, piadineries and restaurants that make extensive use of fresh cold meats in the kitchen.
