They reach a positive temperature of between 0°C and +8°C. The capacity is small, as is the size of the refrigeration cabinet, to fit into tight kitchen spaces. They contain two grids inside for storing food.

Ventilated refrigeration creates a cold climate inside the refrigerator thanks to an evaporator that draws in warm outside air via a fan and lowers the temperature. This results in dry, moisture-free cold.

How do energy-efficient mini fridge cabinets work?

The refrigerated cabinets operate like a normal refrigerator: you set the temperature to the desired level and the refrigeration will lower the temperature to the desired degree. When the temperature is reached, the refrigeration cabinet will stop producing cold and maintain the set degree. Each time the internal temperature rises, cooling will be triggered again after a certain threshold to lower it.

It is a good idea to label each bag with the start date of refrigeration so that you always have an eye on the expiry date. In general, a cooked dish can be kept in the fridge for 48-72 hours, while raw fruit and vegetables for up to a week (depending on the type of vegetable). Cleaning the refrigerator cabinet is similar to cleaning a classic refrigerator: the cabinet is emptied and cleaned with a soft cloth and a non-aggressive detergent.
