Professional electric Fry Tops are part of the kitchen equipment suitable for grilling food. When a barbecue cannot be used, e.g. in indoor kitchens, the high temperatures of the Fry Top with a steel plate can be used to create the typical external crust on grilled meat.

Features and types

Fry Tops can be counter-top or fixed, incorporated into a kitchen cabinet with a free lower compartment. The grill can be smooth only, ribbed only or half ribbed and half smooth.

On the sides of the grills there are splash guards which are very useful when grilling. The grill top has a grease drain at the front that helps to collect the grease that has liquefied during cooking, thus limiting fouling.

Professional Fry Tops for cooking food

With several independent cooking zones, several foodstuffs can be cooked at the same time on electric fry tops, speeding up service in the dining room. For each cooking zone there is also a differentiated knob that allows full control of the heat, which also makes it possible to lower or raise the temperature according to the type of meat being cooked on the fry top.

How to clean Professional Electric Fry Tops

Electric Fry Tops must always be cleaned when the machine is switched off. To prevent the grill from losing its non-stick properties, use a non-aggressive detergent and a soft sponge or cloth; never use rough cloths or sponges to avoid scratching the surface of the grill. In case of encrusted grease, you can facilitate removal with a silicone spatula.
