Non-approved scales are professional, high-precision scales for weighing food products and bulk ingredients.

These professional scales automatically calculate the weight of the product and, thanks to the calculation function, multiply it by the base price identified by the seller. This ensures the final sales price for the buyer to pay.

However, these scales are not suitable for food sales, as they do not allow receipts to be printed. You can, however, use them to calculate the amount to be paid, and go and settle the bill directly at the till.

Non-approved scales, functionalities

Other functionalities of this scale are:

setting of fixed prices;
storage of base prices;
self-calibration.

The scale pan is made of stainless steel or transparent plastic, and can be dismantled for daily cleaning.

In non-approved scales, the maximum weight is up to 40 kg. In some models there is also a weighing tower, which allows the customer to see the final weight and price.

Non-approved scales: what they are used for

The unapproved scale is primarily used to accurately determine the weight of foodstuffs. The fact that it is not type-approved does not affect its effectiveness or quality; it can only be used to issue receipts, as it is not registered and stamped by the Chamber of Commerce. Otherwise, it is absolutely functional, like type-approved scales.
